Eugène Ionesco
Le Solitaire
Le solitaire - 1987 - Jacques Deray
“I had the feeling to carry in myself the whole fear and the dread of billions of human beings, the unease of all. Places in other conditions, each one of them would live the same dread, the same fear of life, the same unease. But they don't deepen themselves. They let themselves be adolescents, then adults, then old persons, in a kind of unconsciousness or resignation, or unconscious resignation. They protect themselves against themselves, as much as they can, as long as they can. But if each one would deepen themselves, each one would live the billions of human beings dread and fear. It's into each one of us, this dread.“
Le solitaire, Eugène Ionesco
Le SOLITAIRE (1987) - TRIBUTE TO JEAN-PAUL BELMONDO (Part 15/20)
From the early 80′s, JEAN-PAUL BELMONDO was the biggest Box office draw in French movie history and was also his owe Producer and distributor. He alternated between shooting comedies and thrillers such as this one in which he reunited with Jacques Deray as Director (see Part 16 and 20)
The Polish poster with Design by Jakub Erol is a great portrait of Bebel with his wrinkled face.
Director: Jacques Deray Actors: Jean-Paul Belmondo
