read The Taken Ones in one sitting last night and then dreamed the Bendy Man was crawling around on the ceiling and I was trying to shoot him with a shotgun
UGGHHH i don't recommend reading revival. like, the process of getting there was cool, but both of the main storylines had super unsatisfying endings.
one was a murder, which did one of those things where there's clues along the way, but none of them are in context until the investigator puts them into context at the end so the audience had no way of figuring it out. also, there was one HUGE thing (murderers whole personality) that would have made it obvious, but again, the ENTIRE REASON for the murder isn't ever really stated until like. the second last issue. its just nothings ever really made clear about the whole revival until the very end so there was no real way of connecting the dots.
also theres a whole thing that happens to the revived at the end, and there's one little girl who it shouldn't be possible for and it just. also happens to her. and makes no sense.
and THEN theres the part where a dying person shows a fetus what their life would have been like if the dying person wasnt dying. and how THAT was possible i don't KNOW
been reading the Revival comic series today and this just took me out
