A deathwatch marine doing some repairs on his lascannon, supervised by a techmarine.
I bought myself a second Skitarii box earlier this week; I used the first two to round out my kill team, and with the rest I decided to try my hand at kitbashing! Spoiler alert: it's fun as hell! I have tons of extra bits from the various teams/factions I've assembled, so I had plenty of material with which to let loose creatively. They're not painted yet so it might be a bit hard to make out some details, but I think they'll look great once I paint them!
Various Xenarites
A Khornate skitarii
Space Marine Lite
A walking lascannon turret
And maybe my favorite, the Chrome Corsair! With either too many guns, or not enough!
This was so much fun! I look forward to doing it again some time!
Junestealer keeps rolling along. This hefty Aberrant can do more than just swing a hammer, he can fire a Lascannon! Watch out!

Devastators for my Templars! Excuse the vaseline that apparently found its home on the edges of my camera.
A Death Korps-style lascannon that I textured for an undisclosed mod project. It may be that this version of the model ultimately won’t be used, but drawing the textures was still a fun and educational experience.
Model by a third party, I only unwrapped and textured it. Rendered in Garry’s Mod because I didn’t really have anything more advanced on hand.
Diffuse, bump and specular maps.
Still needs touch-ups, basing, and transfers, but I'm pretty happy with my first lascannon devastator. On with the next three!
