Pondering my orbital battle station

Found a way to do pretty nice fake metallic reflections in Source, had to give it a go with a quick scene shot.

Orks are considered funny out of universe, so naturally I wanted to do something with a bit more of that “terrifying alien menace” feel to it. All models and textures by me.

The Pyroclasts are a homebrew chapter of Space Marines created by a friend of mine. They’re a successor of the Salamanders legion, inheriting their name and battle doctrines from the legion’s distinct version of the Destroyer corps. I created this artwork at said friend’s request - modeled and rendered in Blender with lots of effects work in post.

The Angels of Revenant were a Space Marine chapter of Guilliman’s line. The chapter homeworld was invaded and destroyed by the genocidal armies of the necron Maynarkh dynasty, with majority of the Angels perishing in the apocalyptic battle to defend their home. The equipment straps are a bit bare because I didn’t have any grenades or holsters for them. Modeled and rendered in Blender.

Some Black Legion traitor marines I did up. Experimenting with the Chaos aesthetic is fun, since there are so many ways you can go about it. Spikes are still mandatory though.
