lanonima ha risposto al tuo post : I finally snapped and I wrote a comment insulting...
oooooh drama!!!
They had a concert in Bergamo (one of the towns that registred the most COVID-19 cases and deaths) and the members of the chorus performed with a surgical mask. This originated a series of posts and comments in the group with people negating the existence of an epidemic and saying itās a tool that the political class is using to establish a dictatorship (š); or that wearing face masks is dangerous because it makes you breathe too much carbon dioxide and you can die for it (weird, doctors, nurses, etc. wear it regularly and donāt die).
Theyāre so fucking ridiculous.Ā

that sucks!!! maybe the over 50 rule only applied for that brief period of time after our lives were mostly farming/hard labor and before they became this stressfulā¦.
Who knows? People definitely still act like the over 50 rule is pretty much a fact, but of all the people Iāve known who have had shingles, only one of them was over 50 when they got it.
I had chicken pox really mild when I was little, so Iāve kind of always known this was probably gonna happen eventually.
Joys of being an adult, eh? Somethingās always seems to be breaking down.

lanonima replied to your post: I miss last week when I didnāt know...
is there anything that can be done about it? :<
Not sure. I came down with shingles so things are just kind of lousy overall. I was given some painkillers, but I donāt know how much theyāre really helping.Ā
I think I mostly just have to wait it out. :-\
Gosh I'm glad you enjoyed my thoughts. ā¤ā¤ā¤ I know I'm right on those two.

thank you! I am, of course, a giant lesbian myself so I was a little sad about how few GL novels there are (and how few of those I actually want to read)...I was thinking about really studying the xianxia genre later and writing a few of my own though! <3
Ahh very cool! Iām in the same boat, thereās so little, itās painful ;;Ā
The only other baihe novels Iāve read so far are The Generalās Manor Young Concubine Survival ReportĀ (which overall as just okay but had a couple good moments)Ā and what little has been translated of Mei Ren Jian (so far similar characterization to wangxian)
A few others Iāve found so far but have not read are My Disciple Wants to Tease Me Everyday, which looks maybe promising, and Demon Sword Maiden and Dragonās Bloodline, both of which Iām hesitant to try because theyāre about men transmigrating as women and Iām worried that theyāll turn out to just be fetish fuel.
Iāve also been told that My Five Elements Lack you has a side lesbian couple, but they arenāt introduced until kind of far in. Iāve read another novel by the author and really liked it though, so it might be worth it regardless.
