BB: I was making a fake cover of "Come Sail Away" by Styx.

Raven: Really? What's it about?

BB: ... our ship week is next week. And "one week away" fits in the song.

Raven: You're a dork.

BB: *slouches*

Raven: *kisses his cheek* But you're my dork, and I wouldn't have you any other way.

BB: Aw, Rae! That's so-

Raven: Don't say it.

BB: Adorable!

We're one week away everybody!!! Next Sunday marks the beginning of BBRae Week 2026!!! It goes from Sunday May 31st to Saturday June 6th. So NaNo put its foot in it and I'm uncomfortable with things as they are. I'm all for growth and admitting they made a mistake but unless I've missed something that's not what's happening. (The very short version is: NaNo as a corporation has accepted AI, including taking money from an AI company as of 9/4/24.)

I'm not even angry, I'm just disappointed. That's a lie I'm a little angry and a lot betrayed.

Anyway, what if we hold our own event? Fanbruary? We could even arrange a community and discord around it, and have tiers based off wordcount goals.
