So i think Dusk City is supposed to be a Hentai Game, but the Steam version comes with a missing patch that contains all the NSFW content.

I didn’t know it was supposed to be a hentai game when I bought it, and That’s how I played it.

I don’t know if there’s more character development behind those scenes, but it felt like there should have been more happening here. More focus on the characters, the world, anything.

What i expected from “the nsfw scenes were patched out” was that it would fade to black and still imply things, but instead there were a lot of points that were just dead ends. I would bring a quest item to the massage parlor, and then they would say “Cool, thanks” and then I would have no futher options but to leave.

At the end of the day, it kind of felt like i was playing one of those poorly-explained RPGmaker games, if it were a Metroidvania. Like Divinity Fatum, or something. It was weird.

The gameplay itself was… Fine. It wasn’t anything too special, but the final boss had a haunting vibe that was very interesting.

The town was beautiful, with this funky cyberpunk postapocalyptic glow to it. The dungeons… All basically the same looking. Though some of the scenery left me with questions I don’t have an answer for.

Normally I’d say if I replay this or revisit the dlc in the future, I’ll tell you about it. But if I come back to this, you’re never hearing about it.

I think this may have been the objectively funniest way to play a porn game.
