It's really interesting what they are doing in the series about the whole "acting" part. It's great that they emphasize that Saint isn't supposed to play himself, he is playing a character. His character isn't himself and Ice's character is also someone else. Of course, the chemistry between Ice and Saint brought them to be paired for the movie. However, the feelings between Kit and Seen are not the same as the one Ice and Saint can share.
Again, we can see that Lanee is so much more experienced than them in this industry and she knows what should be done to do the job. Yet, she also knows that Saint will need a friend to talk about his own feelings for Ice. She offers him to be his confident later after the workshop. It shows how attentive she is. She promises her friend she would be here for him later. However, if he wants to succeed in his workshop, he must become his character and for a while forgetting about his own feelings.
