The Salvation is formerly known as the ST 321, a Lambda-class T-4a shuttle that belonged to Darth Vader. During the Battle of Endor, The ST 321 was used by Luke Skywalker to escape the second Death Star. Once under Luke Skywalker’s possession, Luke renamed the ship the Salvation and made heavy modifications to the shuttle, along with repainting the Wings with the Jedi emblem and utilizing the shuttle as a mobile training center for his nascent Jedi Order.

The Lambda lifted out of the hanger as everything outside jolted. With silent gratitude for Force-enhanced reflexes, Luke deftly avoided flying debris as explosions rattled the unfinished Death Star. The extent of the damage Luke witnessed, as he piloted the shuttle carrying his father’s body to safety, meant the Rebellion’s assault was succeeding.
Satisfaction tinged with sadness lit Luke’s features as he sped towards the forest moon, shining like a verdant beacon in the distance. …His sister was there, and Han. His friends. They all had lost so much, but the war was almost won. The Force was with them.
