!!!People are so delusional!!! !!!Rant ahead >:3 !!!
Okay, so tell me why people have LOST basic empathy for people, and especially for animals. It's so insane, too? My mom keeps talking about how much she hates animals, how 'evil' raccoons and squirrels are. Because why? Because they get into houses and destroy them, get into the trash and composting. I understand, yeah, it's frustrating, yes, you can do things to hopefully prevent that from happening. But WHY are we blaming the animals?! They have done nothing wrong but follow their instincts and do what's necessary to survive; they don't follow nor have the same set of rules that humans do. Hell, I don't even think they HAVE rules. "It's MY house." Okay, well, it may be YOUR house, but it's built on THEIR home. All these poor animals and insects know how to do is survive, and I can't imagine how they feel when they're losing everything. Humans are animals too. We are NOT separated from them. We are all animals, but humans are an INVASIVE species. Why is everyone so quick to point fingers at everything but THEMSELVES? 'Oh my gosh, I have a whole bin of old foods and leftovers that I didn't eat sitting out on my front yard in the middle of the night!!!' 'Ugh, why did these stupid raccoons knock it over and make a mess?' IDK CLARISSA MAYBE BECAUSE IT'S A BIN FILLED WITH FOOD. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT...? WHEN THEY ACTIVELY SEEK THAT STUFF OUT...? Like, let's use our brains here.
Oh, and another thing that pisses me off so much is when my mom gets pissed off that there's trash on our lawn blowing from the neighbours. "I'm not picking up THEIR trash anymore." Okay, so it's not your trash, but it's still trash. Suck it, the fuck up, go outside, PICK IT UP and put it in the trash. Thanks. Can we normalize going out and just picking up trash??? Especially during summer and spring. New hobby 2026, picking up trash!!! - Reblog to boost :3
