I've decided to give this old Datsun pickup back to the family. My grandfather held on to that pickup for many year's. I've put a lot of time and effort into this little pickup. It hurts to see it going the way it has been because I don't currently have a garage. And I've got so many projects and things to do I just don't have the time to get it back together. Not to mention I have a vehicle in mind I've been wanting to put together for a very long time which I can't even think about until all my other needs are met. So I've already talked it over with my uncle and I've decided to gift it to him and he will start another restoration project to get that little DatRod back on the road. This time with a five speed transmission!! 😍. I hope I get to drive it one more time before I'm gone. But at least I'm sure I'll see picture's of it's journey back onto the road. I finally pulled my little red Datsun out of the weeds to get it running again. I'll be selling my Nissan D-21 pickup to get more money together to get a house for my mom. It's been tough saving up money for ma when I've got so many other thing's to take care of but this is important. I've gotta do it. But in the meantime I'll need something that's good on gas to drive around. Because my van is definitely not economical. The frame for this pickup still needs quite a bit if welding done. I've got some neighbors that said they'd let me use theirs and I may have to take em up on that offer even though I'd prefer to do that here on my own property with my own welder. But I gave that welder away year's ago when I was feeling very depressed. So now I've gotta figure out how I'm going to get another one for not much money and wire up an outlet for it 😓😓😓 I know I'll figure it out. It's just that much more weight on my shoulders for the moment. Just temporary. Just gotta remind myself it's just temporary.
