Seversky P-35A was a fighter plane used by the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Philippines during World War II . The U.S. sent 45 of these planes to the Philippines in early 1941.
The U.S. originally built the P-35A for Sweden . When the U.S. put an embargo on shipping weapons to Europe, the planes were diverted to the Philippines.
