Kibum looked over at the older male as ‘Angel Eyes’ drama played on the television. They were binge watching the drama all day, wasting their time on the entertainment that the actors provided. Occasionally, there were a few tearful moments with them being the criers of the group. He sat comfortably under his plush blanket, keeping the warmth to himself as the other was left to freeze. HOW RUDE of him to subject his hyung to the freezer box that he called his home, he liked to keep his place extremely cold because it was easier to warm up. He threw a section of his blanket over to the older and scooted in closer. “I know you’re freezing, let’s warm up!” he exclaimed. Wrapping his arm around the other’s shoulders, he cuddled himself up with the hyung. “Ah, Taemin will be jealous. Should we take a selfie and send the message that you’re officially my husband? Onew too,” he joked but his face stayed stern.
As much as he loved Kibum and the cold, there are reasons why he hesitated when wanting to visit the younger’s home the past few weeks and despite enjoying cuddles and relaxation above anything else, the temperature Kibum keeps his air conditioner at numbs Jonghyun all the way down to the very marrow of his bones. From being outside in the cold winter air all day due to schedules and work, he’d like to be at least warm when he’s inside, under two or so layers of clothes to keep the feeling in his fingers and toes.
He’s currently trying to keep his hands warm by tucking them under his thighs where he’s seated with Kibum on the couch, silently cursing the man who happily keeps himself toasty and warm not too far away from him. Jonghyun’s about to snap when there’s suddenly half of the blanket over his lap and body heat enveloping him, the ill feelings fading quickly as he chuckles under his breath with his arms moving to slip around Kibum’s waist. “You read my mind. Let’s take a few cute pictures together and send them.” There’s mischief playing in the depth of his eyes now, head tilting a bit as his body starts to slowly warm up with Kibum so close.
