"Yes." There's a brief pause before Fordo moves to stand adjacent to Bultar, his motions careful, as if wading into her space. Resting his forearms on the railing to their front, he joins her in gazing outwards in silence. "Strategic gains."

Trying. He makes note of her word choice, seeking to understate that which ails her. Some Jedi took to the war better than others. He found Bultar Swan to be dutiful. Valiant, as many were. Most notably, she strove to maintain the poise he'd come to associate with Jedi Masters, more so than her fellow Knights. Strive as she might, he could see the cracks were spreading.

Siri can hear the mild indignation in Bultar’s voice, and she grins. The ends of her chopped blonde hair stick to the back of her neck with sweat, and the training room smells like plasma from how long their blades have been clashing as the spar, circling ‘round and ‘round, leaping and twirling and slashing as much like a dance as a duel. Bultar’s artistry with a blade is one of the reasons why sparring with her is as much fun as it is practice; she isn’t predictable, and her movements are as fierce as they are delicate.

Strange how the war had a habit of keeping people apart. It had been -- how long since they last met? Weeks? Months? Just the sight of an old friend brings a smile to the General’s face.

          No matter what Bultar said, Sha knew the truth. She wasn’t as into horror movies as she made herself out to be. Even silly ones that at best made her squeak, left her companion cowering behind either Sha or deep within the nest. If she didn’t know better, Sha would think that she only put them on to get to curl up in bed with her. Which wasn’t a bad thing but, it’d be a lot easier to simply ask if they could sleep together instead of giving herself a nightmare.

          The nest had shifted from the couch to back on top of Sha’s bed, with her ‘not scared’ sort-of girlfriend sat curled up in the middle of it. Nothing on but her over sized flannel she wore as pajamas on and her hair in a lose ponytail, glasses resting on the edge of her nose. One hand rested on her hip, trying her best not to laugh at the image of the ever so serious Bultar comfortably curled up in Sha’s nest. A soft laugh had to be muffled, the last thing she wanted to do was make her leave. She was quite snuggly after a scary movie and she didn’t want to miss out.

          With a couple of quick steps to her bed, glasses left on their spot on the desk, Sha found herself curled up right next to Bultar. Tunneling into the blankets, letting her arms wrap around the others waist and pulling her close. It was the first time since they started sort of dating that they got to snuggle like this. Although the urge to laugh was gone, her smile remained, vision blurred from the lack of glasses. She shifted just a little closer, letting their foreheads come to meet.

          A soft hum came before their lips met, the kiss only lasting long enough to enjoy it. Her smile was sweet as she gently pulled away, a blush tinting her cheeks. Not the perfect first kiss, but, it was exactly how she wanted it to be. Pale green eyes rested closed, enjoying how she could feel Bultar’s hot blushing from there.
