I feel like people are so dull when talking about Leorio in this fandom. Nobody really explores his loneliness and despite him, being so critical of himself and likely hating himself, is so kind to others (despite what his facade might tell). he is so hopeful . And I feel like nobody ever talks about he needs the group as much as they need him. Why do you think he is so desperate to call Kurapika

I always feel so sad that I long lost the friends I could talk to about UT and other Video Games. It just feels like i don't have a place in a community.

ifeel like too many people overlook leorio’s backstory ‘cause we dont have a lot of info on it. “oh haha he has the most normal childhood” i donr think. That watching your friend die rigjt in front of your eyes due to a completely curable disease but couldnt be treated due to a lack of money. Thats notvery normal i think

leorio really isn’t a comic relief character, more that the comic relief is apart of the facade he puts up to put himself down

I love leorio with alluka or nanika I think they’d be such a great duo with one another considering Leorio’s own hope for the world and how he and his goal ultimately want good for the world goes in hand with Alluka’s own fascination and optimism of the world too, plus their kindness and need to defend people they hold very dear. Not to mention Nanika’s want for affection and interaction from others, I think he’d show her the kindness she deserves. aughh I love the concept of tjem. plus him and nanika are healers which I think is perfect for her considering her want for humanity

I personally like to think Leorio’s suit represents his insecurities. The way he dresses is to maintain that façade of being shallow and greedy to protect his true motives, in fear of that ridicule or judgement. Because of that, he tries to mimic the people who caused and added to the economic system he was oppressed by (greedy businessmen). Representing his insecurities he has coming from poverty, that he likely blames himself for his friend’s death and wants avoid vulnerability and show he’s capable to avoid that very rejection or disdain he may have gotten prior. That would explain why he felt he needed to hide it in the first place and protect himself. Not to mention the fact he also feels he needs to keep and maintain this look by taking cologne and a whole wardrobe of ties with him in his suitcase.
