Who were hunted, driven away, and if found, killed, after the Darkness took power. In the underground, the People of Light were safe, even if life wasn't pleasant—at least they had one. One of these people was Cary. With her cat ears and tail, it seemed like there was more to her than just a simple human. However, this showed the Knight that she had great potential to become a good Witch of Light. And they couldn't lose this potential again to the darkness. <<

This Story was made for a competition; therefore, the rules on how long a chapter could be where kinda strict. I hope you can still enjoy this story! I'm already writing on the prequel, which is more like the main part, so you can see this short story almost like a long prologue!

Just a closer look at the new Nightmare Prince, Kresimir! He is a very anxious, nervous and fussy baby who cries all the time. Why? Nightmare King Azmodeus and Kind King Daemarus have no clue! A physician has confirmed that he is in perfect health, and nothing is wrong with him. They haven't had a good sleep since he hatched, and they can't have him watched by servants because he screams his head off when separated from them and sometimes fires happen from distressed tiny baby! He's calmer when being held... But nobody can hold their baby at all hours of the day and night! Especially not when they have another baby to take care of, and a 9 year old who also needs attention!

He is incredibly skilled at masking his emotions, save hisanger. When genuinely angry, Krešimir becomes visibly shaken – he grinds histeeth, clenches his palms. His voice quivers on occasion, and his tone of voicealters rapidly between words.

He is vengeful. Small insults to his pride are repaidtenfold. This can mean something as trivial as public humiliation, or at its extremities,it may mean death of a loved one, or outright killing of the accused party.

Even as a child, his parents were incredibly distant. Ittook many years of trying to prove himself, asserting control over his othersiblings (now deceased, one by his own hand) to finally gather their approval.His desire for control over other people has continued into adulthood.

Although very articulate, his pacing between words is quiteunconventional. It can sometimes give the illusion of “hissing” as heaccentuates certain sounds, particularly ‘s’ and vowels.

Has a fear of beingrejected; or abandoned (reminds him of a dark point in his youth during whichhis parents isolated him / unofficially “disowned” him for killing a sibling ina rage). This manifests in extreme efforts to “reacquire” said person,sometimes going as far to stalk / blackmail / etc.

Despite being a sith, Krešimir’s loyalty to the empire is artificial.Many of its ideals suit him well, but in truth it is a matter of alliance byconvenience. (e.g. if presented with the opportunity to defect to the “winningside” he will take it).

He wields a double-bladed sabre with a red crystal. He isnot as strong in the force as others in his faction, and relies on his skill asan assassin to maintain his effectiveness within the order.

Even though he grows to recognise his behaviours are toxicand abnormal, he holds onto the idea that he is “too far forward” to turn backand redeem himself. In many ways, he is right.

He is semi-fluent in scribing Sith (language) but cannotspeak it.
