finally got around to coloring him!

So this cutie patoot is kovas. 

Kovas is a hylian/Zora hybrid, son to sidon and link, and technically older sibling to soleila. 

in @askthecuisson-ler ‘s and i’s rp link is able to conceive and give birth to kavos and soleila by means of the zora mask. for more specifics on that please see soleila’s character sheet. soleila and kovas are different in which when a hylian egg is inseminated by zora seed, the effects are quite different (soleila is the opposite where it was zoraan egg and zoraan seed) 

kovas has a lot of traits unique to hylian hybrids in which they have freckled like scales over their body and for him as a descendant of alpha species, has blade like scales on his forearms. he does have gills and is able to breathe underwater, however he has fish asthma, and i say that in the sense in which he can have issues breathing underwater in majorly cold temperatures or if he over exerts himself, on dry land he’s just fine.

He has facial markings akin to his sister soleila (and again a shout out to rutela) his hair tends to lose its pigmentation the closer it gets to the ends, so the shorter he cuts it, the more light pink it is, otherwise he has red hair as red as daddy’s scales. (and a happy trail, brow waggle)
