I spend way too much time thinking about extinct elves in the elder scrolls- like the Falmer, Dwemer, Ayleid, and left handed elves are so interesting???? also other extinct races like lilmothiit and kothringi are obviously cool too. I wish we could know more about their cultures. Please tell me about your oc with an obscure race people.

this is Okkori, he's a kothringi hunter turned solider turned pirate turned a whole fuck ton of things in his immortal life.
ramblings and extra art below;
SO this shiny motherfucker's been kicking it since eso up until well after skyrim.
he, like a couple other kothringi, turned to serving the ideal masters to escape a mix of disease and war that for the most part decimated his people
SO, though he usually covers it up, he has this;
(shorter hair to show it better)
stuck in his chest, which is a chunk of the physical form an ideal master takes. He cannot remove it so long as he's stuck in his pact.
I'm still working out specifically how his pact works, but thus far he is;
immortal/ageless
possesses powerful soul-centred magic
so after eso he ends up helping out with the oblivion crisis and meets my hok, zirya, and also ends up fighting in the great war, during which he meets, befriends, works with, and falls in love with an imperial woman and officer, Avina (the ring on his neck belonged to her.)
She was sadly killed during the Battle of The Red Ring, and Okkori was never quite the same after that, as she was the only person he'd ever trusted enough to even remotely open up to about his past.
so years later he ends up a pirate on the whispered wave, still being a jovial and funny guy definitely not a mask to hide his trauma where he has a great old time and definitely doesn't end up working with Avina's niece and has no idea she's her niece
he's a fun guy and I love him
ramble over lol anyways alt hairstyles;
might update his art with extra details and ramble some more later on <3
Giants? (For some reason they are classified as a mannish race)
Proto-Bretons (they were manmer and indistinguishable from elves)
Nedeās and their many subgroups
All of them

Fun Fact: The Reachmen although related to Bretons and therefore having Aldmer/Altmer ancestry. They also have Nord, Nede, Orc and even Dremora ancestry.
Fun Fact 2: Proto-Bretons were the first generations of the Direnni Aldmer/Altmer and Nedes native to High Rock, and they were said to be in distinguishable from other elves. They were mistaken for elves by the Atmorans and were attacked, and then were mistaken for being human slaves taken from the Falmer from Saarthal during The Night Of Tears attack.
If anyone is wondering. The Ormaās are a human ethnic group native to Black Marsh and are born without eyes. Even their skulls donāt have eye sockets in them.
Drawings of what I think some of the random treasures from Elder Scrolls OnlineĀ would look like. I love how a lot of them give little fragments of lore on more obscure races.

One thing i think is pretty overlooked is the Kothringi. Cause most of the races that are āextinctā disappeared before any games, but you can still find Kothringi in ESO cause they were pretty much wiped out by the flu like, 20 years before or something.
I dunno I think their pretty cool cause their kind of related to the Bretons cause their Nedic descendants (probably closer to ātrueā Nedes than the Bretons are) and they are apparently like, silver?? Of course, they mostly lived in Black Marsh so it wouldnāt have been too āstrangeā but still itās insane to think that a MAN race has such different skin.
Kind of makes you think about the Nedes and what they mightāve been like. Cause, of course, we meet Caldwell whoās a Nede but heās not a reliable source, as heās dead and doesnāt remember everything. But he just looks like a basic Imperial or Breton.
Moving past that I think itās really cool that their most worshiped patron is Zāen, aka Zenithar. Cause heās not at all talked about. Also heās not really a āBlack Marshā God. Youād think theyād worship the Hist, living on their land, but they worship more Imperial Gods like Kynareth, Dibella and Mara.
I dunno I think we deserve more Kothringi lore lol.
"Kothringi ... yes. I remember now! I am a Kothringi! A plague swept across the village. Sickness, death, corpses piled everywhere... No, I'm the last of the Kothringi. I should rejoin my people."
