326 BUBBLES IN THE AIR
_en What does the 26th of March mean to you? If you’re reading this blog post, you’re probably celebrating Air Max Day, the day dedicated to the Air Max line, on this date. The Air Max Day tradition started in 2014 when Nike decided to properly celebrate the anniversary of the release of the first Air Max Model, the Air Max 1. Ever since, sneakerheads all around the globe have been honouring this anniversary and Nike always makes sure that this day is truly special.
This year is no different as Air Max Day 2018 is accompanied by a whole range of interesting events. Apart from the anticipated release of the Air Max 1 & Air Max 97 fusion from Sean Wotherspoon, which sneakerheads themselves chose during last year’s Air Max Day, and other special releases, this year’s March 26 is mainly about the youngest Air Max family member, the Air Max 270. Air Max models are historically bound to running, the 270 is, however, the first lifestyle-focused shoe in the Air Max line. To provide great comfort for casual use, this sneaker is equipped with the highest Air Max cushion under the heel in history. Taking its inspiration from the Air Max 93 OG, the latest 270 instalment releasing these days is the Dusty Cactus.

_cz Co pro vás znamená 26. března? Pokud právě čtete tento příspěvek, pak je velice pravděpodobné, že v tento datum prožíváte Air Max Day – svátek řady Air Max. Tradice Air Max Day začala v roce 2014, kdy se v Nike poprvé rozhodli pořádně oslavit výročí vydání prvního Air Max modelu, Air Max 1. Od té doby si toto výročí sneakerheads z celého světa každoročně připomínají a Nike se velmi stará o to, aby tento den byl skutečně speciální.

Modely Air Max jsou historicky pevně spjaté s během, Air Max 270 je ovšem prvním zástupcem v této řadě, který je zaměřený primárně na lifestyle. Pro maximální pohodlí při běžné chůzi je tato teniska také vybavena nejvyšším Air Max polštářem pod patou v historii. Nejnovější barevnou kombinací, která vychází právě v těchto dnech, je Dusty Cactus, což je colorway inspirovaná původním modelem Air Max 93.
