Love 'n' Pride
In honour of Pride Month I wrote a poem ✌🏼️ Love n Pride
❤ ️Put on your war paint Because it’s time to fight For rights, for acceptance, for love, for pride
💛 Unwrap your voice box and make your voice be heard Silence the negative stigmatised word
💚 Lace up your combats And march in protest At people who hate Those not born like the rest
💙 Wear your pride like a neon sign Tell them that love knows no era or time
💜 Don’t be afraid to be who you must Eventually everything crumbles to dust
💖 Show them that you are not held down by the hate And you are the writer of your own fate
🎨 So put on your war paint No matter gay,straight or bi And accept each other We can at least try Because a world without love Is no world at all So here’s to pride And may love find you all 👫 👬 👭
