I believe that if Connor hadn't ended up dying, the two could have actually became friends and been a good impact on each other. Well, mostly Evan on Connor — i think the idea of Evan support and help Connor to get healthier / recover it super cute and sweet! Whether it leads to more than friends or not, I just like this pairing a lot
