Ok so I still haven't seen every NMT episode (I know, I'm a fake fan 😔) since I've been watching them with my girlfriend who got me into it. I've just seen up to Abstinence Camp. So these opinions are subject to change once I've seen the rest of the series. Who knows, maybe I'll love Daddy or something lmao

🙃 Favorite NMT Episode

If you asked me like two days ago I would've said Jane's a Car, but it's since been bumped down to 3rd place. Thank god I watched Abstinence Camp the day before getting this ask. It's not the scariest or even the best but man I love Steph and Pete so much you don't understand. I'm keeping myself from gushing about them too much, but going from "oh my god this is het-slop" to "oh my god this is het-gem" over the course of nerdy prudes was an experience. And the second they started talking in Abstinence Camp I had such a big smile on my face. So yeah it's my favorite because it's good, but also because of Lautski bias.

Least fav character in npmd- miss Tessburger, she literally doesnt do anything other than be an annoying character

Least fav nmt ep-has to be hatchetfield ape man, other than the ending with chumby it’s missing that certain vibe of eeriness that makes nightmare time evil and sinister.

okay so most people suggest Steph's main lord in black is nibbly, due to the "Stephanie yum yum" line plus the theory/headcannon that her mom was once honey queen.

Ik I've proposed the idea of Stephanie being related to blinky due to the phone aspect but I propose a new one.

Tinky

Now you must be thinking, "But wait Tinky usually deals with Pete", and that's exactly my point. There's probably so many universes where Steph shoots Pete, and possibly other universes where Steph makes a deal with Tinky to get him back. They're the lovers and she'd walk through hell and back to get him.

But with the lords in black it's never easy, so she'd probably have to do some things for Tinky to get Pete back, in a way she would need Tinky.

Pete and Steph dating goin to like comic con together, and Pete is going around being amazed by everything

Pete: This is the best moment in my life

as a big fan of both Spider-Man and NPMD, I did notice how much the two characters overlap. Nerds, specifically science nerds. Both called Peter. Similar dress sense (in high school, at least). Plus, Pete even does a little Spider-man motion in the show. anyway, on to my actual point. Pete, like early comic Peter, has outbursts, a popular girl love interest, bullied by a jock, confident in his good grades…

meanwhile, in the home trilogy, Tom’s Peter has no real anger that feels reminiscent of real teenage frustration (a lot, I do think he has his moments, mostly thanks to Tom’s stellar performance.) he has an MJ, but she’s also a nerd? I love zendaya and their dynamic (even though we know like nothing about MCU MJ but that’s for another day.) but it’s just not that dynamic people love them for. Flash is as much of a geek as Peter and doesn’t really feel like a bully. Also, we don’t really get any context as to Peter’s school life grades-wise.
