KIVRA - Laskujen uusi aikakausi?
VastikÀÀn Suomeen rantautunut Kivra tarjoaa uudenlaisen digitaalisen vaihtoehdon vastaanottamaan, maksamaan ja arkistoimaan laskuja. MikÀ tÀmÀ on ja miten tÀmÀ sitten eroaa jo olemassa olevista sÀhköisistÀ laskutusmahdollisuuksista?
Olemme tottuneet e-laskuihin, joita kaikki suureet pankit pÀÀsÀÀntöisesti tarjoavat asiakkailleen.
OmaPosti on Postin kesÀkuussa 2018 julkistettu mobiilisovellus.
MikÀ sitten on Kivra?
Yksi iso on jo mukana â nimittĂ€in Kivran osaomistajan toimiva Telia, joka varmasti tuo nĂ€kyvyyttĂ€.
Kuka sitten tulevaisuudessa menestyy ja minkÀlaisia palveluja meille kuluttajille on tulossa laskujen maksun suhteen? Mielenkiinnolla jÀÀn ainakin seuraamaan Kivran tarinaa Suomessa.

Kivra's game took a turn this week.
Kivra, Gobekin, and our "lawful good" cleric Luke were transported to a different domain today. In which, we killed 7 trapped innocents, a mini lich, and a Beholder with Alzheimers. We entered a world of dreams, in which each of us was shown the destruction of our world. Gobekin, our kobold, was shown his goddess Tiamat, and the party by her side, on a mountain of corpses.
Gobekin is determined that Tiamat will take us in as ger children, and make us all dragons. Kivra now has a goal in mind- she wants to become a god. (And if she can get the others to be by her side, she thinks it will only add to her power. She's been working hard on turning Luke to the dark side. Looks like her work paid off, since he lit innocents on fire this session at her word.)
I play a lawful evil character, now. She used to be chaotic neutral, but it didn't fit right. Her name is Kivra, she's a human Monster Hunter. She's gotten one party member to trust her implicitly from the get go, and act sort of like a peon to her (a kobold). She's a Smith, and has made masks for the party- she has a black dragon mask for herself, with a ruby third eye embedded in the forehead. She also has two silver leg prosthetics from an accident years back.
I think the funniest thing right now is that there's a lawful good Forge Cleric sort of interested in her. He might end up being the next one she's going to try to turn to favor her.

Minty Blood
Yesterday, the party sent me to decapitate a head of a bugbear we just killed. And needless to say, I got completely covered in blood. The DM offhandishly mentioned some got in my mouth, and that "It was minty." So I go, hmm, that's weird! And as she walks to the party, she shoves two fingers into the throat and gives the blood another taste, because it was weird. Party understandably off-put by her behaviors. She then tries to get the party to give the blood a taste.
On a side note, they also firmly believe she should change her alignment to evil. It doesn't help that hours earlier she killed a surrendered enemy, after spending some time petting his arm and telling him she wouldn't kill him. She kicked him into a spike trap, and firmly told everyone he tripped. So they started to say he tripped as well. I think they might just be scared she'll kill them (she won't).
Somehow 90% of our party has proficiency in an artisan tool, and somehow we all chose different ones.
Kivra, my fighter, can use smithy tools.
One can use leather-working tools.
One can use carpenter tools.
One can use the jewelers kit.
So right off the bat, our characters worked together to start making some sick ass items.
Implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) at Kivra
Hello, Internet! It's Kivra Labs.
We work with two types of customers at Kivra. The first is our partners who send in their content to communicate with their customers (end users) (like, Skatteverket) and the other are the end users themselves. Our success has been built on being able to understand both types, be able to solve problems for both, and know how to get them to like talking to each other. :)
The Use Case
A prevalent example is our partners wanting to redirect end-users from a content in their Kivra inbox, straight into the partners' system. An example is an insurance company wants to communicate something important to the end user and prompt them to check their current policy on their system.
The prompt is achieved by our Active Content in the Kivra product. The Active Content is our take on an embedded iframe that is included with the partner's content. So, when the end user logs into Kivra to read the communication from the partner, they will see the Active Content above the content item.
So, to summarize, our partner wants the user to log into Kivra, read the content item, click on the link in the Active Content, and then be able to look at their current policy on the insurance company's website.
In order for this to work, the authenticated user needs to be able to transferred to the sender's system, authenticated, and then logged into the system, without the user having to re-login or be asked to re-authenticate.
The authenticated user on Kivra clicks the button in the Active Content.
The user is sent automatically to the sender's system.
Their credentials are verified.
They are logged into the sender's system.
The process is seamless for the user. The real fun is under the hood, tinkering in the engine of the technical solution.
The Solution
We used SAML2 to implement the use case.
Final Thoughts
Apart from the usual teething problems and tweaks, this solution proved really successful for us. Our partners have seen its value and we're now getting more requests to implement this on a wider scale.
