These adorable Kitty Cat Cookies are not only fun to make but also delightful to eat. With colorful dough and cute cat features, they're perfect for themed parties or simply enjoying with a cup of milk.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Food coloring assorted colors. Mini chocolate chips or candy eyes. Small pink candies for noses.
Instructions: Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk. Mix the butter and sugar in a different bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix them together until a dough forms. Cut the dough into several pieces, and then use food coloring to color each piece as you like. Put the colored dough pieces in the fridge for about 30 minutes after wrapping them in plastic wrap. Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Cut the colored dough into small balls. The cat heads and bodies should be round, and the ears should also be round. Arrange the balls on the baking sheet that has been prepared so that they look like cats. Put small chocolate chips or candy eyes on the heads to make eyes, and a small pink candy for a nose. After the oven is hot, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way.
