I wanted to draw two of my favorite characters from an upcoming book in the Skytown series. Sutta and her wife Kirri!Â
I’ve drawn Sutta (left) a few times before but I’ve never drawn Kirri in full color so her design might tweak a bit but I’m happy with it for now!
Sutta and Kirri are Whiptail Lizards belonging to one of several species of Whiptails who have evolved to be entirely female. They still take mates and both lizards will lay eggs resulting in clutches of identical genetic clones of their mother(s).
Because of this the lizards in my story decorate themselves in face paints to show their individuality.

Kirri, my Goliath Blood Hunter (Order of the Lycan obviously). Just concept sketches and doodles to figure out her design and werewolf form. MOST LIKELY will be used for a future campaign since Rydrion is nearly over! No backstory really till then, so for now we can just enjoy some cute werewolf lady

Sutta Sketch
I haven’t drawn this gal in over a year! One of my Skytown characters from my third book (outline in process). Sutta is a New Mexico Whiptail. Fun Fact! New Mexico Whiptails are a species composed of entirely female animals. They still take mates with one another and both reproduce asexually. Typically the larger female lays more eggs than the smaller one but they will both reproduce. Their offspring are genetically identical clones of their mother. As such, everyone in Sutta’s village looks the same, they mark their families through tattoos, colors and symbols. Sutta’s family colors are blue. I’m stoked to draw more of Sutta (and her rebellious wife Kirri) in the future as her story develops.Â
