the thing about redeeming a hound and my own social redemption is that broken people can’t get unconditional love. It can be given but normally it slides right off or is interpreted wrong. healing takes time and effort, but no amounts of hugs and kisses can remove training. You’ve been pavloved by your own society and by whoever held your leash for so long. It’s hardly on you that the healing doesn’t work immediately for the person trying to help you or that you feel bad about them helping you So anyway yeah Kionne I get it, but skill issue.
