Ah, I don't tend to kin from anime because I always get into a sort of pickle about it, sigh. A friend of mine unfortunately got me into a lovely anime recently, and I kin two characters from it. The unfortunate thing is that I'm white as shit, bro, and so the kin names are almost always closed culture ones. And then I run into the problem of kin dysphoria due to the fact that I can't use x y z name, and then, much to my absolute pain and agony, I can't find a suitable name to swap it with, you know? And so it's this perpetual loop of kin dysphoria butting with my logic and reasoning. Because honestly, it's like, sigh. I feel like there are much, much bigger issues than *names,* you know? Part of me is tempted to just say fuck it, you know? Who cares if I get "cancelled" over it. It's such a small issue that I honestly couldn't care less about who gives a fuck. (But then comes the argument of, "if it's such a small issue, why don't you just deal with it?" and nobody's happy.)
Look, the names have been mocked throughout history, its not your fault for the dysphoria but you have to deal with it. Closed cultures are closed for a reason!!!
