Welp...it has been a while since I have been on here regularly so welcome one and all to my thread tracker post.

THIS IS NOT A CALL OUT POST.  I don’t do these posts to call out my partners passive aggressively so that they reply.  

I try to do these once a month to help myself and partners stay up to date on threads.  If you follow the link below, you will see all the threads I currently have active.

As of May 2019, I am going to archive all of my 2018 threads, unless I have talked with the partner.  

(Archived doesn’t mean the thread is dropped, I would be fine with continuing it in the future if the partner would like to do that.)  Partners can also IM me if they want to drop current threads or archived threads.  (this is a great time to do it, I won’t be mad)

it’s not that he is self-CONSCIOUS (even though he REALLY is to some extent), but more the FACT he doesn’t look like the AVERAGE guy the other seemed to be INTERESTED in. 

1. It took Brock fifteen years of thankless graft and toil to get his detective badge. It destroyed his marriage, his health, and (depending on who you talk to), his sanity, and even so he’s been stuck at third grade for the last three years. He’s too abrasive for the higher-ups to promote further.

2. Jack Rollins is a small fish in the city’s swamp. A little bit of fraud, some extortion, money laundering. He has fingers in a lot of pies, but he’s going to need inside help if he wants a slice of the big boys’ pies.

3. Trying to get Brock on his side is easier than Jack thought it would be. The detective is still an idealist, but age and experience have hardened that idealism with a healthy edge of cynicism and pragmatism. All it takes is a dossier on a dirty cop in Brock’s precinct, and Jack’s got himself his very own attack dog to turn loose on his rivals.

4. The three-piece suit is a beautiful grey, 100% wool and lined in silk. It’s pure, unnecessary luxury, and Brock doesn’t have to be an expert on clothes to know it cost many times his salary.

"What I have for you gentlemen is a mission that requires your utmost discretion." Director Pierce addresses the gathered STRIKE team, with the recent addition of Captain America, in his usual firm voice. The mission could be Hydra, or SHIELD, and it would make no change in how he held himself, how he talked. "A rouge laboratory has been experimenting in super soldier serums. You are to destroy the lab, capture the scientists involved, and retrieve any material related to the serums."

It would be impossible not to notice how Steve is stiff at the mention of the serums. It's a mission that's turned personal right from the start (not that half the things Steve Rogers does turn personal at some point).

In the laboratory, Niko is scared. He doesn't like saying it, even to himself, but he is scared. His heart pounds. His palms are sweaty. He can't think straight. Scared. He's scared.

He looks up at the sounds of fighting. Gunshots, screams, and the repeated sounds of something big and metal hitting the walls. He struggles to his feet as the door is ripped open.
