Sadly, I'm not the scientist, but I am a historian. I was asked if Bucky's story was realistic and part of that story was mind erasing. If you want to learn about mind control, look up the MK-Ultra science experiments- which the government admitted a few years ago to be a thing that happened. I'd also recommend looking up early LSD experimentation on soldiers and the Manchurian Candidate. Tony makes this joke for a reason. This is only about 3.5 pages. It's a pretty easy read!
