So what on earth, is this random group of people doing?

Well, the idea is, a team has formed through The Barn Fitness Club in Cholsey, Oxfordshire. We have (somehow!) committed ourselves to climb Kilimanjaro in June 2019. The challenge is a personal one, a group one and a money raising one. We endeavour to raise at least £20,000 for The Nasio Trust. 

This is the first post of many to come. Over time, I will reveal the personalities of the team. For now, I am only just getting to know them myself.  Personally, this is one of the best parts of such an event; getting to know new people as we come together through something so very different. It promises to be a life-changing enterprise and it will be fascinating to see how very different our personal experiences turn out to be.

Perhaps, we can share some tips during our adventure; this year-long training and fund raising events, then the actual climb up Kilimanjaro itself! There will definitely be laughs, and probably a few tears. Only time will tell! Stay with us and all will be revealed. x
