are they including the unaired pilot on the list you're using or something? because there are only 144 episodes of the show. (also yeah i feel like there are worse episodes. in beer bad she hits parker with a stick!)

You are right! I hadn’t checked the whole list because I wanted to be surprised as I go one by one, but yeah, they’ve included the unaired pilot. I guess I’ll change the number for Beer Bad to 144.

I am 31! Which feels borderline too old for fandom, until I remember that’s not actually a thing.

👻 Do you believe in ghosts

You know that character in any supernatural horror movie who doesn’t believe in ghosts or demons or whatever and gets killed in the first 20 minutes? That’s me.

I mean, I enjoy the idea of ghosts. The idea that the memory or essence of a person could be left behind in a world that they are no longer truly a part of and can no longer meaningfully affect. I even have a Spuffy story concept where a Buffy who’s never met Spike moves into a London Apartment which happens to be haunted by William’s ghost (they fall in love of course, but loving a ghost is no simple matter).

Do I think ghosts exist in our actual world though? Nah. I never have. I just don’t think there’s compelling evidence. I mean, I love the stories that old buildings tend to accumulate. And there’s always that weird feeling of the hair standing up on the back of your neck when you’re at a place that just feels kind of off. Still, I think these speak more to human nature than to the existence of the supernatural. Plus, what a sad, empty existence it would be to be a ghost! I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. 

That said, I never want to be that skeptic who’s actually just an asshole, and I do tend to keep an open mind to the possibility that I’ll one day have an experience that will totally change my mind.
