Someone told me something the day the nominations came out and that I haven’t stopped laughing over it. They said “If there was an Emmy for “You really really tried” then she should definitely be nominated but since that category doesn’t exist wtf is she doing up there”. Like...she means well but........she really can’t act ljkdfhgsjdfg

Also y’all fucking know how much I love Sophie and Maisie and that I would sell my right kidney for S*nsa but also...not two of the 5-6 people who gave the best performances OUT ALL THE ACTORS OUT THERE. Simply not true. Literally none of the cast should’ve been up there but if anyone had to be I’m fine with Gwendoline getting one. Are most of them outstanding actors? Absofuckinglutely. That entire cast (minus Bobit #2 and Bobilia) are fucking outstanding but did they give the best performances out of every dramatic show on the air right now? No. Just...no. They got them because they’re on the biggest show in the world not because they’re the best actors of the year. That much is clear. The whole list of GOT nominations is suspect at best.
