Extensive summary of the mortal life of the Dead-Three
Just writing this down so I stop confusing myself. And posting it because others might be interested as well. I dunno.
1. -489DR: The Cat's Gate, a portal that leads into the Outlands, is opened by the Crown-Sorcerers of Rdiuz. Said gate is located in the floating city Meigg. The Crown-Sorcerers seek to conquer the Outlands and the rilmani protect their own home (the outlands) by invading Netheril. The Archmages of Netheril, especially the Crown-Sorcerers of Rdiuz, manipulate the Anchor of Chaos within the Monuments of the Ancients and allow primordials to walk on Toril in order to have a way to fight back against the invading forces. Maram of the Great Spear (a primordial) and Bane (who is part of Maram's slave army) come to Toril. The Seven Sigils War begins.
2. -461DR: The phaerimm cast their life-drain spell in order to stop the destruction of their underground lairs, which are being desteoyed by the abuse of magic the netherese people practice. Netheril begins its collapse.
3. -450DR: Many of the netherese people flee Netheril due to the phaerimm's life-drain spell. Around that time Bane escapes Maram and starts to work for the crown-sorcerers of Rdiuz.
4. -449DR to -440DR: Bhaal (who is the Chief Assassin and Spymaster of Rdiuz, back then still known as Arabhal) and Bane work together and scout the rilmani armies periodically. The crown-sorcerers invade Anubis domain, a divine graveyard, and steal the remains of gods in order to craft god-slaying weapons. Jathiman, the leader of the sorcerees, is ablw to deduce how to craft god-slaying weapons and each of the crown-sorcerers founds a cult that worships them.
5. -439DR: The Crown-Sorcerers of Rdiuz have assembled enough power through the worship of their cults to craft seven god-slaying daggers. Jergal starts noticing both Bhaal and Bane.
6. -438DR: Jergal steals the Daggers and turns the cults into ghouls, while also almost completely destroying Rdiuz.
7. -371DR: The Seven Sigils War ends after the netherese wizards managed to banish most of the summoned primordials back to the Elemental Chaos. Maram escapes towards the Monument of the Ancients. The phaerimm life-drain spell continues. Bhaal and Bane flee Netheril together with many others. Arabhal (Bhaal) becomes known as Bhaal.
8. -365DR: Jergal begins to torturd both Bane and Bhaal in their dreams in order to get them to slay the primordials. He gives them hints towards the location of Jathimans Dagger (one of the seven weapons crafted by the sorcerers) to them in their sleep.
9. -359DR: Bhaal and Bane follow the clues to Mezeketh Island, where they encounter Myrkul. They team up, slay the lich Urgund, and claim the Sceptre of the sorcerer-kings, the Jathiman Dagger and Urgund's phylacthery. The three travel to Okloroum and bargain with the Dragonking Kisonraathiisar for save passage through his lands. The dragon blesses them and sends thwm against Borem of the Boiling Mud (a primordial). They travell to Rezamark and into Borems domain where Bhaal pierces the primordials heart with the Jathiman Dagger. They leave the dagger in the heart and return to Mezeketh Isle, where they bury it.
10. -358DR: The three makw thwir way towards the ruins of Myth Rhynn in Wealdath and retrieve the second of the Seven daggers of Rdiuz: The Morden Dagger. They track down Camnod the Unseen in the plains of Ride, north of the Moonsea, and slay him.
11. -357DR: The three make their way to Barze and convince the sorcerer-king to pledge his wizards to the Dead Three. They assemble a host of 50.000 men and march against Maram towards the Monumenrs of the Ancients. Maram is banished back to the Elemental Chaos and the Anchor of Chaos repaired. Bhaal, Bane and Myrkul stole a part of Marams divinity. Less than 2.000 men survived.
12. -357DR to -356DR: The Dark Three stay behind and study the Anchor of Chaos. Myrkul constructs the Cenotaph of the Lost Gods in the empty wastes of Lee-wai, while Bhaal and Myrkul retrieve the Yurax-dagger. They free the primorfials Tyranthraxus, Edranka and Torath and steal a small part of their power before the primordials manage to flee.
13. -356DR: Bhaal assassinates Barze and they leave the kingdom unchallenged. Tyranthraxus and his army of Twisted Ones is sent to overrun the kingdom.
14.-351DR: The Dark Three command Torath to lead an kuo-toa army against the duergar settlements amongst the Lost Ways of Sarphil. At the same time they command Edranka to march against Hargut of the Gray Pestilence, though she fails.
15. -350DR: Bane, Bhaal and Myrkul ambush Haask in the Ironfang keep. Bhaal drives the Yurax-Dagger into Harguts back and Bane reveals Haask to be a batrachi. They force the two of them into servitude. Myrkul binds them together in a ritual, creating Haask, the Voice of Hargut, and confines him to the Ironfang Keep.
16. -349DR to -339DR: They discover a vast network of underground portals beneath Careekar, likely the nodes of the spellweavers, and at some point Myrkul figures out how to safely use them.
17. -339DR: Karsus folly happens and unlocks the Garuut-Omruum seal, revealing three ancient pyramids similar to the Monument of the Ancients. The three split up: Bane travels to Garuut-Ar, Bhaal to Garuut-Au and Myrkul to Garuut-Cu.
18. -335DR: Bane, Bhaal and Myrkul ascend
There. That's it. I summarized the most important things.😃
