She never knew the full extent of what the Farseer’s did to her little Keppet. It mourns me. His mountain mother of mint and golden hair. A woman he craved for and loved as a child, even if he forced himself to forget her.

I wish Fitz had tried to find his mother in the mountains, the scene where she sees him at the market is so sad
