Fundraiser for Leif and his Handler to cover vet bills

Leif is one of our puppies from our most recent litter that had gone on to become a service dog prospect

A little while ago Leif slipped and hyperextended his wrist and became it was taking such a long time to heal, even after his initial vet visit, an orthopedic specialist was consulted. The specialist said that surgery was likely not going to be necessary for the soft tissue damage but she was concerned about potential damage to the growth plate, which would need surgery to great.

Today he went back to get xrays done to see if there is any damage to the growth plate and they're waiting to hear back from the radiologist.

Even without surgery though the vet costs are mounting and as many of you are aware (some from personal experience) having a disability often means having limited finances. That's the boat Leif's handler finds herself in. She has pet insurance but it's not the best and she has to pay the costs up front and wait to be reimbursed.

After the x-rays today she still owes $100 and that's not counting the money she's out of pocket from the insurance deductibles and any costs not covered by insurance so if anyone is able to help this really amazing team out it would mean the world to them.

This little gem is still looking for a home! She'd ba amazing as a pet and therapy dog. She's the smallest of the bunch but has the biggest personality and wants to give ALL the kisses. Our darling little fruitbat.

Newfie is a lot of dog in a lot of ways. He's going to be a big boy and he's got an equally big personality. Newfie likes to think he's the boss so he'll need firm boundaries that are consistently enforced or he start making up his own rules. He likes to act tough but he's a secret softie at heart.

UPDATE! Little Rumi is no longer available. She's going to be living with a puppy raiser for a few months and then she'll be going to her new home where she'll learn to be a service dog!

Rumi is a sweet, loving, gentle, and remarkably calm little darling and would make a great pet, therapy dog, or service dog.
