What made you ship it?
Their hug in "Safe Room". Kendall being vulnerable with Shiv was just so eye-opening to me, and I've been stuck there ever since.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
"A naughty shared smile between the higher-status siblings" just kinda hits the nail on its head for me. There's a constant rivalry and will grind each other to powder, making things very personal (Shiv's letter exposing Kendall's misogyny and treatment of his children, Kendall becoming kingmaker to Mencken to punish Shiv for her betrayal) between but also they can and will forces against a common enemy (f.e. Rhea, and later Logan) - or if they can come out on top if someone else (by definition, that person being Roman) is down. Just incredibly crunchy to me.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
That I like it? :D There's, maybe, a handful of people who ship this and afaik, not a lot of Hot Takes that might be unpopular. Although maybe that I consider Shiv to have more chemistry with Ken than with Roman? Either way: us Roycest enjoyers shan't fight with each other, lol.
