It feels good to sing. Really good!!! We were supposed to park and shuttle but a sweet volunteer named Calvin turned out to be a talented jazz musician and we bonded over Sarah Vaughan & he hooked me and the band up with amazing parking next to the stage making load in a breeze. First time singing at a festival with a rock band since I lived in Boston. Gorgeous music. Peaceful smile. Thank you to Bryan Aguirre, Tod Mori, Kevin Morrison for playing ncdb festival, you guys are the real deal. Thank you Janice for inviting us, and Tommy for amazing sound. Thank you to Aaron and new and old friends, family who came to support I loved seeing your faces in the audience and hope to get to know you all more next time. I loved playing this show and after, Calvin the jazz guitarist/parking fairy godfather gave me a huge bear hug and told me he listened to us from the street and that we did good. Sigh.
