I think you’re referring to the use of the word ‘ace’ in Taeminnie’s new album right?  Let’s talk about the maknaes back story ~~ Taemin is the main dancer of SHINee who debuted when he was 15 due to his prodigy like skills. He was considered pretty much tone deaf and got about as many line’s most visuals get - 1 or 2. Taemin was criticised because of his poor singing skills but not disheartened he worked extraordinarily hard to improve his singing. Taemin’s vocal skills have improved significantly since his debut. Looking at the lyrics of the song ‘Ace’, I’ve drawn out some interesting lines “I’m a blossomed ace” and “All the passing guys who were just so-so, I’m a bit different from them.” When looking up what ace means it can be defined by words such as ‘skilful’ and ‘adept’, So Taemin saying “I’m a blossomed ace” shows that he isn’t just good at dancing but he is ‘skilful’ and ‘adept’ and has become a strong singer. I think Taemin’s album is called Ace because it describes him and his transformation from being skilled in one area to becoming a powerful all-rounder, someone who excels at anything or an ‘Ace’ ^ ^

Or it can just be because the albums intro track is called ‘Ace’ and I’m just a thirsty taemint
