I’ve found so many resources on the Cardassian language for fics, but need to create some praising terms through combining word roots—curious if folks have ideas.

Imagine an instructor to a student, or a mentor to mentee. Or… things that would make an eager CMO blush. I’ve got some ideas; any crowd favorites?

Haritvri’a: a water drinker, or in Terran, slut. Inspired by Orchidlocked's Garashir and Cardassian Headcannon filled Fics. Vyc&Tin Kardasi

Irc’ok: Moon Beam But because there was a word yet for moon, there was a suffix so I used that instead. Garak calls Julian his Moon Beam, which I also wanted to imply the Blind Moon. Julian is his beam from the Blind Moon and they were meant to be. Vyc&Tin Karadsi.

A’vre: Akin to ‘Bastard’. using Vyc&Tin’s word for filth.

Sicus’te’i: Enjoined (married partner). There was no word for it, so I took the base word and put -’i, like I’ve seen used in the send of ‘my’/’mine’ in another word by Vyc&Tin Kardasi

Ss’bar’alhi: Holder. Protector. Guardian. The one who holds another’s everything; one who is entrusted to protect their other half; they who was all and everything needed. Vyc&Tin Kardasi

E’zIra, e’zIra he’ kret ka re’mitkaderb men’harit. Ka a’vre!: Rough translation of ~I love you, I love you and need you like the flower who reaches for water. You bastard.

Mitka’wen— From mitka (Plant; used for Floral words such as Flower, Garden/er, and leaf) and wen (Small). Used here as a nickname akin to “ Small Flower”. Vyc&Tin Kardasi

The words I would actually like to see would be ‘father’ (which I know has a fandom word for) and ‘flower’!
