what: our darling kitty whitmore will be hosting this years secret santa party! you can start signing up your characters from this moment by sending a message to the main and between thursday and friday, we’ll be messaging you privately to let you know who your character is assigned to give a gift to. on friday morning, we will be posting the instructions regarding the threads in which muses will be giving out their gifts and the secret santa party setting.
CHRISTMAS WEEK IN VIENNA
when: sunday, 22nd of december – saturday, 28th of december
what: welcome to vienna, austria, my darlings! a city known for their beautiful christmas markets, snowy cobbled streets and breathtaking castles. start googling the best tourist attractions in the capital of austria because for a week, we’ll be moving our characters over there. kitty and flo will host everyone in big estate on the outskirts of the city. but you can find any reason for why your character would spend christmas over there. either way, we’d love to see you there!
A VISIT TO THE CHRISTMAS MARKET

what: one of the biggest and most beautiful christmas markets in europe takes place in downtown vienna. so be ready to walk around the colorful stands and drink some mulled wine in the company of your kaos friends. this will be a discord event that will last 48hrs to cover all timezones. the dates of the event will be announced on december 23rd.
NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH
when: monday, 30 of december – monday, 6th of january
what: this time around we are going to berlin! sihyun is preparing THE PARTY to say goodbye to 2019! germany’s capital is famous for their raves and wild nightlife so we concluded.. there’s no better place to celebrate the end of the decade! specific reasons why your character will be in town are up to you. we’ll be having a week long event for the party but you’re also encouraged to make threads exploring the city. can’t wait to party the berlin way!

as much as andrés loves a club’s vip section, he is not going to spend his new years eve in one when he is the city of underground raves and street parties. as soon as he heard people were going to be celebrating in the streets, he ditched jung sihyun’s party. the guy didn’t even like him anyways. but just in case, he stopped by to drink some champagne, a glass or two to get him started. a quick trip to the bathroom to sniff his powdered happiness and he is on his way to brandenburg gate.
there’s a bottle of moet in his hand when he spots someone else. he can’t help but invite them to join him. “wanna come on a new years adventure with me?”
florian loves his friends. he really does. he loves spending quality time with them, doing all sorts of touristy things in vienna and having sleepover nights in their beautiful estate in the outskirts. and he has fully enjoyed every moment of the holidays so far. but he just really wants to spend some time alone with his boy now. because it’s not like florian is trying to keep his feelings for arlo a secret, but the uncertainty of their relationship status doesn’t let him kiss and hold his boy with the same freedom as he does when they are away from familiar eyes.
that’s how he ends up packing his stuff and taking a first class train towards prague. he only warned the other boy of their impromptu trip the night before. “pack your stuff, my love. we’ll meet the others in berlin.” that was all he said in an attempt to keep the surprise. this was his christmas gift to arlo and somehow he managed to keep the mystery. not without blindfolding the other while walking around train stations and on taxi rides. but they’ve finally arrived and florian can finally sigh in relief.
the small flat he had rented downtown is perfect. located on one of the oldest buildings on a fancy neighborhood, it’s all tall white walls and autumn colored paintings. however, the place still manages to look cozy and warm. the perfect winter getaway for two young lovers.
with one arm wrapped around arlo’s waist, hugging him from behind, florian finally takes the black piece of fabric covering the other’s eyes. “joyeux noel, mon amour,” he whispers, placing a small kiss on arlo’s shoulder.
“OH!” ARLO TURNS quite suddenly on his heels to face the other, his fingers instantly moving to wrap around their wrist. his eyes are lit up and a small smile forms on his lips. the pair are out and about in the gorgeous streets of vienna, which seem to glow with a sepia orange and radiate warmth and the sweet, refreshing smell of pine. he’s uncharacteristically bundled up, which may or may not have to do with florian insisting he not leave without a scarf, which is now wrapped around him two, three times. he’s also got a black letterman jacket on top of a white sweater, accompanied by a pair of boots and dark wash jeans. he did have a beanie on but he’s since given it to the other to wear. behind him, and thus the reason for his sudden intrigue and enthusiasm, is an ice skating rink.
“we have to,” he tells them, as if there’s no other answer to the unasked question. “come on, we can topple over together. it’ll be great.”
Sihyun can’t even begin to explain how giddy he’d been when he’d gotten Florian for the secret Santa event he was in Vienna for. This was the perfect way to start off a series of gifts he had planned for his best friend which would lead up to his birthday and with the secret Santa excuse he could go above and beyond. The first of these gifts would be a night enjoying the beautiful ballet Le Corsaire at the Vienna State Opera. A night of beautiful music and a gorgeous performance, as told by the reviews, with an excuse for both of them to put on their best outfits. That’s why Sihyun had texted Florian that morning to clear up his schedule for the evening and that Sihyun would not take no for an answer.
At exactly 6:15PM he steps outside the palace, pulling his coat tight against his chest as the shirt he’s wearing underneath does nothing to stop the cold. He’s constantly suffering in the name of fashion. Once the limo he’s ordered pulls up just a little ways away from where he’s standing Sihyun takes out his phone to send a quick text to Florian, asking him if he’s ready yet. Though he’s in no rush, he’s itching to get inside and drink a nice glass of the champagne he knows is waiting for them in the limo. “I am quite literally freezing my tits off out here for you, Florian. You are so mean to me,” Sihyun sighs dramatically once he spots his friend.

New Year's Eve had been a bit of a blur for him because of a few pills he’d popped earlier just to get him to relax a bit and be able to enjoy the night without feeling like he’d jump out of his own skin. He’d spent most of the night with Sam because, well, he wanted to. And plus, Sam was interesting as a person and made something tug inside Fabian’s chest, something he was not at all familiar with. For the past few minutes, he’d been outside smoking a cigarette which he’d promptly stubbed out when he realized what time it was.
He makes his way inside the club and spends a few minutes just trying to find Sam. And then when he does, his stomach drops in a feeling that he is entirely too unfamiliar with. There are many emotions Fabian knows he’s never felt and this has to be one of them because he can’t even fucking name the damn thing. But when he sees another man crowding Sam, lips locked in a kiss with the boy, well, Fabian sees red.
He grabs the guy by the shoulder and pulls him off and away from Sam roughly, one hand flying towards his face and connecting with his cheekbone with a loud sound. The other guy looks at him with wide eyes and to Fabians delight, in his eyes he sees fear. “Fuck off,” he says through gritted teeth, letting the other go with a shove before he turns to Sam. “I—fuck. Happy new year, I guess.”
