ALRIGHT HERE WE GO. *rubs hands*2.  What scene did you first put down?The very first one. I’m a chronological writer. I can’t jump around, else I lose track of what I’m doing. 3.  What’s your favorite line of narration? Oh holy shit there are so many I felt proud of when I wrote them, but let me see… if I had to pick from recent chapters.

Kylo once again looks at Maz, then, after a long moment, he takes the ring and pockets it, quietly leaning down and planting a soft kiss on her cheek. She pats Kylo’s face, a gentle, maternal smile gracing her lips. “You’ll thank me later, kid.”

This is one of the few tender moments Kylo allows himself. Not just vulnerable, of which there are many, but tender. A moment where he’s not just Kylo Ren but the Ben Solo only Maz seems to be able to see. We don’t get to see this often, and it’s so subtle it’s almost easy to miss, but it holds a dear place in my little writer heart.

The next one was Kylo and Rey having to walk a mile to get to a train station in the middle of the night, and let’s just say he’s a little flustered. A fun turn or phrase when I wrote it. 

Rey offers him a small smile and he almost forgets again what he was thinking about, so he lengthens his gait until she has to follow him or be left in the rain, and that helps a little. But not much. Not by a mile. They walk that mile in silence.

For hilarity’s sake: 

It does have one drawback, though. Two weeks of this and he’s found himself having to take care of business rather frequently, power-wanking in the shower and drowning in his own shame while Rey seems to retain the composure of a statue. 

I love the term power-wanking. That’s literally all there is to that choice. 4.  What’s your favorite line of dialogue?URGH I DON’T KNOW THIS ONE IS HARD. I don’t know, actually. The story’s at 150k words by now and that’s a lot of dialog to sift through xD what’s YOUR favorite line of dialog?15.  What did you learn from writing this fic?

That writing is hard. lol Actually no, I learned that with my first fic, which is STILL not finished, but as it is I’m 5 chapters out from finishing Proposal and the biggest thing I’ve learned is that comedic romance is just as hard to write as a serious, angst-ridden story if not more so, because the heartstring-tugging pain is an easy enough emotion to evoke with a few carefully selected words. We’re predisposed to feel pain because we’re already invested in these characters. Writing comedy that doesn’t feel forced or cringe-worthy (considering all the shit I’ve thrown at these kids) is immensely difficult to pull off with a snap of the fingers. Keeping the second-hand embarrassment away while making it also feel realistic can be a tricky thing to do. I can only hope I’ve done that justice, though I’m too close to the work to know so I just have to go by what my readers tell me. 

i’m so sorry!!! :( it must be terrible to have had to watch everything collapse around you like that; at least i’m actually from the UK so my ability to stay here isn’t jeopardised (everything else in my future is BUT--)

the petition for a second referendum is at over two million signatures though, which means the government are obligated to address it! we might still be fucked over, but a lot of people voted irresponsibly or through misinformation (like the NHS being safe if we left the EU, which was a HUGE incentive to a lot of people - turns out that was a complete lie and it’s most likely going to be dissolved regardless, meaning a LOT of people are regretting their Leave votes) so it’s only fair to have a second vote in light of the fact people were intentionally misled!

Hiya! So, I’ve actually decided to change that one aspect of it since I would need the exact same number of artists and writers. What I’m going to do instead is have the artists contribute their own separate pieces for whatever genre they get. At least 1 illustration is required, but if you want to make more, you are more than welcome to do so.
