to be HONEST, i kinda just drew them in the realm of what-if, because the thought of angelus being domesticated is funny to me. if i had to think about it though i think there would have to be some external limit placed on him (like spikes chip) that would make it so that he couldnt just up and kill everyone there. for me this would be a combination house arrest spell and whatever lorne does to make his club violence free.

i started thinking ab cangelus during ats s1 when he gets drugged, and i really like the thought of angel bringing together cordy and wesley for his mission right before he goes Evil. youd have to think of cordelia as really generous to not kill him then and there but in my mind, thats what happens, and they are somehow able to keep angel as a prisoner as they continue with angel investigations. i definitely know how much this would parallel s4 spike too but shh thats just how it is. it could also happen sometime in s2 once they have gunn and lorne (+ maybe fred) reliably in the mix

i really like the idea of cordelia being angelus' "handler" more or less, bc shes so incredibly sharp-tongued, pragmatic, and already not going to cry over angel. so while they have angelus chained up or locked up or maybe even free roaming around the hotel, hes the most drawn to cordelia because shes the only one there who actually knows him from back in sunnydale, and he wants to break her spirit. since he cant use physical force, he only has his words, and cordelias practically immune to that. cue some intense frustration on his end. after a couple months or maybe a year of this he probably gives up on trying so hard. and maybe some time after that he becomes her pet freak
