Women in Mahabharata - Jvala
She is noted as the daughter of Jana and is married to an Agni. She is also sometimes identified with either Neela or Svaha.
She is the reason that Agni fights on the side of Neeladhvaja and lets Arjuna win only after the latter invokes a favour in exchange for having burnt the Khandava forest much earlier.
She is also more prominently mentioned in the Bengali adaptations.
