Do you think there's potential for really dark bad endings in Jock Studio involving sex trafficking or just sexual abuse in general considering its premise ? I remember the only other BL VN based on sex work Full Service did have such bad endings.
I doubt we'll see much of that from Jock Studio.
It's overall more lighthearted and goofier than Full Service, in typical BLits fashion, and while both games' premises involve sex work JS seems to be cordoning that angle off to just one or two characters rather than having most of the cast comment on that in some way.
There's also the point that JS is possibly the most high-profile X-rated gay dating sim ever, between its incredibly successful Kickstarter, massive scope, and just how long it's been in development. Obviously it will never be in the same league of online discourse as Dream Daddy and the more recent Date Everything! simply because of the advertiser-unfriendly porn, but I imagine that BLits might want to play things relatively safe in terms of dark subject matter for that reason. It's not as if they have an amazing track record on that front either; the darkest subject in Camp Buddy: Scoutmaster Season (attempted suicide) was apparently not well received, so they may not want to repeat that.
Unless one of the other characters springs something unexpected on us, my guess would be that in Bryce's bad end he'll stay closeted and unhappy, maybe keeping up his self-destructive habits, and that Derek's bad end will have him quitting Jock Studio and the porn industry as a whole because he couldn't get through to Ace re: whatever happened to the guy in his past.
