@ideordinal indeed they do, they also lack nuclei. And tbh they probably lack midichlorians - @eclipsemidnight - because they are used more to ferry oxygen (on hemoglobin). They donāt use any of the oxygen they transport. And they have a turnover of roughly every 90 days.Ā
