One of my favourite quotes is probably ‘fall down seven times, stand up eight’. Although I don’t show it often, I’m a very emotional and vulnerable person, sadly. I never feel good enough, I never feel like I’ll achieve anything in my life but when I think of this quote I think ‘okay let’s take a moment. you’ve had a small knock of confidence and that’s ok. try again tomorrow. tomorrow will be better as the hurt has hit and now it’s subsiding. it may still be there, but it won’t hurt as much.’ and that’s how I keep going.
