yo i can't be the only asian in the rpc who hates (and i mean hates) that the only asian fcs ppl give a damn about are korean and japanese, right? bc u just kno its these white people who take it way too far and become obsessed with kpop and jpop to the point that they're being disrespectful to actual asian people/treating fetishizing the fuck outta koreans and japanese people. the rph community only helps perpetuate it too. it gets even worse when u remember how kpop groups r treated like shit.
the issue with kpop and jpop groups is that, while it’s good that we have any representation of asians as attractive, it reaches a point where people pretend they understand korean and japanese culture. not to mention the fact that in the rpc, no other type of asian is represented. i rarely see south asian or southeast asian faceclaims being used when there is an asian muse. and you’re right about the white person thing. it’s usually that or in some cases east asians who refuse to acknowledge that there are other asian people. i can talk about this for hours tbh. thanks for venting.
