17. Favourite AU to write. Not to bang on about my Big Bang. But I’ve really been enjoying crafting out this larger world and trying to make sure all the characters make sense within it?

29. Favourite story/poem of another author.There is literally so many to choose from, and I’m a fickle beast whose tastes change on a whim, but here’s a quick list of stuff I’ve read (and in some cases reread) recently in the last few weeks and loved:

@notforonesecond is slowly writing me the soldier AU of my dreams as her Big Bang. (You guys are not ready.)

@thesnowyswan wrote this really heart-wrenching teen AU I adored. 

@vicbartons also wrote this angsty teen AU that plucked my heart with its descriptions of summer. 

@robertjacobsugdens cracked me up with their proposal week ficlet

So did @susu-st who wrote a similarly hilarious one for them (I’m now very on board for ghost hunting AUs)

Oh! @littlelooneyluna‘s was this great (and frankly, heartwarming) look at an established relationship and all the insecurities that can crop up in them 

@nooneelsecomesclose17 has me eagerly awaiting the next chapter of her Baking Competition AU 

@vckaarrob‘s Robert jealousy story captured his insanity to a T

@escapingreality51 ‘s roommate AU had me grinning on the train

@blondhairedking wrote this really nice band AU which put a big smile on my face before bed.

and @persiflager ‘s Robert and Aaron make a sex tape tale is just a *chef finger kiss* combination of hilarious and sexy.

I know that’s a lot, but I’ve been fortunate to read a lot of wonderful fic. Also, I’m kind of indecisive and can never choose just one.

omfg so true though, i’m sorry but sometimes they don’t even hug like they’re in a relationship… that was a ‘mates pat on the back’ if i ever saw one oops

I find bullet-pointing notes at the top of my fics helps too!! Makes the page look less daunting, even if the notes are like “then they’re gonna kiss, because I said so mwahaha” just something fun, because at the end of the day it’s meant to be an enjoyable experience, not a drag! ☺️
