i ALSO love johnjade!! i think john and jade have an easier time being openly genuine and affectionate because of what they bring out in eachother so there's a lot of gifts and dates and i think they'd inspire rose and dave to actually get out of the house and go on dates too! i love you beta ot4 <3 it's hard to imagine daverose without johnjade... they're all in love to me. i've never looked at another group of characters and gone "wow, they are so obviously in love". their relationships with eachother are so rich and they are the polycule ever!! i think they'd have a double date at a diner and dave would order increasingly odd dishes for "irony reasons" while rose matches it by getting weirder things in turn and both are stone-faced while john and jade are holding hands and losing it laughing. jade is stealing john's bacon while he's not looking. john orders a chocolate cake because it's the one thing jade can't steal!
