Pyro  trying to act tough and trying to act cool and trying to act like he doesn't care when actually the exact opposite is the case ...  He is  desperate  for love and   attention  and he   doesn't even find it At Professor X's school

He is not a villain. He is the good guy.. He is misguided in his own head

X3 (with the change of director, change of writers, etc. )did not have the nuances of X2 about Pyro..

So... for me, after reading and analyzing Aaron's interviews, plus what I saw in X2, maybe Pyro has a loving side that he doesn't show to everyone. In my mind ( Headcanon), it's hard for him to show that side because he's hurt and masks everything with arrogant bravado, but for me..he has that hidden loving side.

In my mind, John has a loving side that he doesn't show to everyone. It's difficult for him to show that side because he is hurt and feels lonely, and he masks his true feelings with an arrogant attitude, but I think Pyro has that hidden loving side.
